Film maker Roberto S. Oregel grew up
in East Los Angeles. He earned his B.A.
from UC Berkeley, followed by a M.A.
in Latin American Studies and an MFA
in Film Directing and Production
Oregel is an independent filmmaker
who has been writing, directing and
producing documentary films for
18 years. His works represent a variety
of film genres, including experimental,
narrative, and documentary.
Oregel has dealt with a range of
subjects, from human relations, to
the creative process of fine art, to
the issues that impact underrepresented
communities. Oregel’s films have been
screened at international film festivals,
and nationally televised on Showtime.
In addition to directing and producing,
Oregel teaches film classes at CSUSB.
Oregel’s team of trained professionals
are skilled in the art of storytelling.
